Morgan Brauer is from the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. Since the age of 4 she has been playing baseball/ softball. When she made the transformation to softball, in 4th grade, she also went on to play travel with the Palatine Stingrays. She played with The Palatine Stingrays until high school as an all star catcher and outfielder.

Brauer attended William Fremd High School and played softball for the Vikings for 4 years (2 at the Varsity level). At Fremd, she established herself as a solid center and right field with a strong arm. Offensively, she propelled as a lefty slap hitter and with her speed and base running skills stole many bases at the Varsity and Junior Varsity levels. After Senior year, Brauer knew that her career of playing softball at the competitive level was over, but was looking forward to coaching it in the near future.

Additionally, her expertise in lefty slapping has helped many players be more successful at the high school and college levels. Coach Brauer will be available for private lessons in addition to working with Elite Fastpitch travel team.
